John Perkins is an economist, mathematical modeller, software developer part-time inventor and author. He has qualifications from universities in Melbourne and London, and is a member of the Humanist Society of Victoria, the Rationalist Society of Australia, is a Public Relations team member of the Atheist Foundation of Australia, and is a founding member and President of the Secular Party of Australia. He has been motivated, since September 11, 2001, by a deep concern as to the directon in which society is heading, on a number of fronts.

Andrew Conway is a successful Australian scientist and businessman. Andrew has Ph.D.s in Mathematics
(University of Melbourne) and Electrical Engineering (Stanford University, California). He has run a successful business,
Silicon Genetics, which made computer software to help understand and thus find cures for diseases.
Andrew has a long history with secularism, including being president of the Stanford Humanist society whilst a student.
As well as a desire to separate religion from government, Andrew believes that he would bring to the senate competent general long term economic and other decision making.
Andrew lives in Donvale with his wife and two children.
